This bilingual book of folk tales features traditional stories, imbued with traditional Balinese folklore and humour, that are suitable for all ages. This book will soon be available again, thanks to the efforts of Saritaksu Bali.

Adrian Clynes is an Australian linguist who has specialized in the phonology, morphosyntax, and sociolinguistics of Western Austronesian languages, with a particular focus on Balinese and the languages of Brunei Darussalam. He compiled this delightful book of stories along with colleagues Wayan Sukarini, a prominent Indonesian linguist, and illustrator Ketut Marra, in 1985, and created a bilingual book in both English and Indonesian, laying out the different language versions on facing pages, that has given joy to many children and adults alike.
